Nail art that feels as good as it looks!

Guest Reviewer - Claire Hawkins

I was quite excited to try out this original sugar velvet manicure, the latest fashion trend for fingertips promising to give texture as well as great colour from the range of twelve shades I choose a bright cerise pink and a deep royal blue.  To start with it doesn’t look like there will be enough to do all ten nails but it's amazing how far a small amount goes.  It’s a little fiddly but not too difficult and it didn’t take as long as I expected it to complete.  It was easy enough to follow the instructions provided and using my own base , I used was Avon Nailwear Pro in Viva Pink, followed by a a top coat, dip and press. Afterwards, there was plenty left in the bag, enough for another set.

It feels like I’ve been fuzzy felted.  I love the colour but it doesn’t look like it will last too long, especially if you have to do house hold chores.  It is definitely an acquired taste though.  I love it but my hubby wasn’t too sure.

After 24 hours  my nails are only half as fluffy, they still look ok as the base colour matches exactly but my nails have become a little bald in places.  I would conclude that these nails are perfect for a night out or a special occasion such as a wedding , perfect for co-ordinating with your outfit.  They would definitely get noticed and it's a bargain price point!
